StayWell Health Center will be providing free Covid-19 testing at 1309 South Main Street in Waterbury every Monday and Friday in February from 8am until 10:30am. Testing is offered to anyone in the community who needs or wants to get tested. No doctor approval is needed and no appointment is necessary. This testing site offers drive-up and walk-up testing. Test results come back in 2-5 days.

StayWell Health Center, in partnership with the State of CT Health Department, The Greater Waterbury Health Partnership, and the City of Waterbury, will be providing COVID-19 Testing on Wednesday October 28th at the StayWell Health Center site located at 1309 South Main Street in Waterbury. The testing will run from 8am-10:30am. No doctor approval is required and this service is offered for anyone who wishes to be tested for COVID-19. This testing site will offer Drive-Up and Walk-Up testing.
StayWell Health Center is excited to announce that we are now accepting patients into our new Adult Co-occurring Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) located at 1309 South Street in Waterbury. This program runs on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings from 9am until 12pm. Overseeing this program is Jackie Davis LCSW, LADC, our Assistant Director of Behavioral Health.
On February 6th, local non-profit collaborative, Greater Waterbury Health Partnership (GWHP), began the new year by appointing the first Executive Director after a search conducted in the fall. Angie Matthis, formerly of the Greater Waterbury YMCA, is now serving in the much-awaited position and has hit the ground running. Angie has over 12 years of experience working in health and human services in Greater Waterbury, most notably working in the onboarding of chronic disease programming, securing funding and operational leadership. Originally from the Midwest, Angie brings a strong marketing and development background to the Partnership as well as a track record of excellence in project management and program scaling and dissemination.
