The Silas Bronson Library will host a community conversation about historic preservation on Thursday, October 24, starting at 6:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

Information will be provided about funding sources for the restoration of historic properties, Waterbury’s new demolition delay ordinance, and what can be done to save historic buildings and monuments in Waterbury. Preservation concerns about Riverside Cemetery and St. Anne’s Church will be discussed. Participants are welcome to share their questions or concerns about other historic properties in Waterbury.

The Silas Bronson Library is the public library of the City of Waterbury.
