1) Our organization’s mission is to be able to bring a fun and positive atmosphere with cash prizes to the gaming community and youth of Waterbury. The participant’s proceeds from all our tournaments will be allocated accordingly to assist a particular local family in need as well as provide assistance to organizations actively involved within our community.

2) Our mission for this event is to assist the Nieves family located in Waterbury, CT. Juan Nieves has been unemployed for close to a year and his family is currently experiencing financial hardship and we want to assist them by conducting this fundraiser event. He has a family of four that he needs to provide for. Thirty year old Yanitza Roman is his wife along with three children; twenty two year old Juan Nieves Jr, four year old Johnny Angel Nieves and 25 month old Johnitza Nieves. Both Johnny and Johnitza have spina bifida, which is a birth defect where there is an incomplete closing of the backbone and membranes around the spinal cord. Johnny also has autism and Johnitza has a gastrostomy tube that is inserted through the abdomen that delivers nutrition directly to the stomach so she can eat.

3) We will be hosting the venue on February 13th, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM to be able to assist the Nieves family in their time of need. The venue will be conducted at Kings Landing 348 Frost Rd, Waterbury, CT 06705. All proceeds from the participants will go to the Nieves family; we will also be conducting a clothing drive to obtain cold weather gear for the homeless community.

4) We process online registrations at our website www.brasscitygamers.com and will be partnering up with other gamers, local businesses, and non-profit organizations. Our partners and sponsors all strive to be able to assist the community in an opportunity to revitalize the city of Waterbury.
