The Silas Bronson Library Children’s Division will present aspecial program with live birds of prey on Thursday, February 25, at 6 p.m. Handlers from Blue Moon Raptors will bring several birds and talk about their environments, habitats, and favorite meals. Learn about the important role birds of prey have in our ecosystem, and how they help maintain a balance in nature.

   Blue Moon Raptors, based in Guilford, rehabilitates ill, injured, and orphaned birds of prey to return them back to their natural habitat. Along with bird rehabilitation, Blue Moon Raptors educates the public about the birds and how we can help preserve the environment and protect wildlife for future generations.

   The Silas Bronson Library is the public library of the City of Waterbury.
