SHRINE Asian Kitchen, Lounge, and Nightclub, High Rollers Luxury Lanes and Lounge, and Scorpion Bar at Foxwoods Resort Casino are recognized in the esteemed Nightclub & Bar Top 100 list, the nation’s only annual revenue-based listing of high-grossing nightlife venues.
For the sixth year in the row, SHRINE —owned and operated by Boston-based Big Night Entertainment Group—has made the list. High Rollers and Scorpion Bar—also owned by Big Night—join the list following a successful year marked with popular events, celebrity hosts and DJs, and strong culinary and nightlife concepts.
“We’re honored to make Nightclub & Bar’s Top 100 list, again being recognized among the most successful and popular clubs in Las Vegas, New York City, Los Angeles, and Miami,” said Ed Kane, an owner of Big Night Entertainment Group. “And we’re thrilled that for the first year, all three of our Connecticut venues are highlighted for the enjoyable and luxurious experience we work to bring to our guests night after night.”
Opened in 2008, SHRINE features a 21,000 square-foot nightclub and lounge, enhanced with Asian-inspired fine dining, star-studded entertainment, and world-renowned DJs. High Rollers, with 20 bowling lanes and plush, oversized seating, blends a nostalgic Las Vegas aesthetic with cutting-edge technology and spirited, easy-to-share dishes. With an entertainment stage and an assortment of the best tequilas, the Scorpion Bar brings a rock and roll spirit and authentic and innovative Mexican cuisine to Foxwoods. The three Foxwoods properties exemplify the commitment to full and inspired dining and nightlife concepts signature to Big Night Entertainment Group.
“This award is a testament to our hundreds of hardworking employees and our loyal guests, who make our growth possible,” said Executive Chef Kevin Scott. “We’re looking forward to continued growth in 2015 and the years ahead as we seek more ways to provide guests with unmatched dining and entertainment experiences in New England.”
Chef Scott, who last December was promoted to Executive Chef of all Big Night Entertainment Group venues—SHRINE, High Rollers, Scorpion Bar at Foxwoods; Red Lantern Restaurant and Lounge in Boston’s South End/Back Bay; GEM Italian Kitchen, Nightclub, and Lounge in Boston’s Financial District; and Empire Restaurant and Lounge in Boston’s growing Seaport District—will continue to work with Executive Chef Kevin Long to bring unique flavors and fresh ingredients to the award-winning venues.
