The CT Grown Litchfield HIlls Farm-Fresh market is open for business at its indoor winter home at the Litchfield Community Center, 421 Bantam Road, Litchfield, CT. Over 15 vendors participate offering seasonal field-fresh or cold-stored fruits and vegetables; hoop house and hydroponic salad greens, herbs and shitake mushrooms; local eggs, pasture fed beef and bison; artisanal breads and chocolates; pies, cider doughnuts and baked goods; jams, jellies, chutney, pickles, sauces and hot sauce made from local ingredients; award winning goat and cow cheese; honey; maple syrup; balsamic vinegar, olive and grape seed oils; and goat milk soaps; local restaurants offer foods to go. Seasonal artists and guests have great offerings for yourself or special presents. Music, guest artists, and workshops are scheduled on most market days.
