State Representative Larry B. Butler (D-Waterbury) recently joined with House and Senate leadership for a meeting between teachers and legislators in Hamden. Rep. Butler specifically met with 30 school teachers from the Waterbury district.
“I heard their concerns about several reforms and mandates that aren’t working will bring their concerns back to my colleagues for action,” said Rep. Butler.
The meeting with teachers will result in a focus on educational issues that can potentially have a positive outcome by the end of the 2014 session. The 2014 General Assembly session begins on the 5th of February.
