Waterbury Girls Club, (now called Girls Incorporated® of SWCT), of 35 Park Place, Waterbury, CT is seeking alumnae who were members of the club any time before 1990. Remember the classes in cooking? “Feed your husband for 25 cents”, “Did you enter a sewing contest?” “Did you go to the summer camp on Lake Quassy?” Gymnastics? Dance? Ceramics? Serving over 160,000 girls annually, and 1100 locally, Girls Inc.’s primary distinction is its gender-specific, research-based, age appropriate programs that inspire and empower all girls to be strong, smart, and bold?. At Girls Inc. of SWCT, girls ages 5 to 18 can enroll in educational and recreational after school, athletic, and summer programs all designed to encourage girls to take pride in success and prepare them to be healthy, educated, financially independent, confident, and responsible adults.
