At its 91st commencement ceremony held on Friday, June 7, 2013, at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Church, Sacred Heart High School awarded golden diplomas to eight members of the class of 1963. Each year prior to graduation, members of the fiftieth reunion graduating class are invited back to the Heart for a reception with members of the administration in honor of their 50th anniversary of graduation from their alma mater. Members of the class of 1963 visited, reminisced, and enjoyed viewing their yearbook! As honored guests at the graduation ceremony, they processed in with members of the class of 2013 and were given golden diplomas acknowledging this milestone occasion. Those members in attendance were: Elaine Smith Ariola, Betty Quinn Corbett, Raymond Coughlin, Dennis Kelly, Virginia O’Rourke Cookson, and Thomas Shea. The Sacred Heart High School family hopes this annual event will grow and was delighted to sponsor such a wonderful reunion for such special alumnus.
