(AFNWCT) will sponsor a Café & Conversation on French folk dancing Saturday, April 6th, at 10:30 a.m. at The Barn Club, 558 Main Street South, Woodbury. On Thursday, April 11th, at 7 p.m., the Alliance will host a lecture in French by Sharon Straka, former Director of the Yale University Center for the Teaching of French, about French artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. Admission to this lecture, held at the Woodbury Library, is free and open to the public.
As a follow-up to the lecture, on Saturday, April 27th, the Alliance will sponsor a trip to the New Britain Museum of American Art for a guided tour in French of more than 150 works of Toulouse-Lautrec. The program is open to the public. Cost for Members and Non-Members is $15.
