New students can register for summer courses at Naugatuck Valley Community College beginning Mon., March 18. Individuals who want to earn transfer credits, work toward a degree or explore new educational pathways are encouraged to apply to the College at nv.edu/apply.

The 2013 summer credit session offers approximately 150 classes in classroom, online and hybrid formats across three sessions: June 3 – July 26, June 3 – July 5 and July 8 – August 9.

New students should call the admissions office at 203-575-8080 to set up an appointment. More information, including access to available courses, is also available at nv.edu.

Anyone interested in learning more about the campus prior to registering is encouraged to attend a free, group campus tour and information session. Upcoming tours will be held:

• Fri., April 26 at 6 p.m.

All information sessions will be held in Technology Hall. Parking is accessible from the East Entrance. Tours begin immediately following the information session. Naugatuck Valley Community College was established in 1992 with the merging of Waterbury State Technical College and Mattatuck Community College as a public, two-year, associate degree granting, co-educational, non-residential institution.
