Subaru of New England is teaming up once again this year with The American Diabetes Association as a regional sponsor in the 22nd Annual Tour de Cure, a cycling event series to raise funds to help fight diabetes. More than 4,000 cyclists and over 3,000 volunteers and spectators are expected to be a part of the movement to Stop Diabetes as they participate in the Tour de Cure at sites throughout New England in 2013. All funds raised at the Tour de Cure events will go to support the Association’s mission – to prevent and
cure diabetes and improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.

“We are so pleased to be welcoming Subaru of New England back once again in 2013 as our automotive sponsor in our New England Tour de Cure events,” stated Chris Boynton, Executive Director for the New England Chapter of the American Diabetes Association. “Their support and promotion throughout the region helps us to extend further awareness of the seriousness of diabetes and also spread the message of hope as we pedal together to Stop Diabetes.”

Individuals and teams composed of family, friends and co-workers are taking the ride of their life and helping raise funds to change the future of diabetes for nearly 26 million Americans with the disease. Tour de Cure is designed for everyone from the occasional bike rider to the experienced cyclist with routes ranging from 3 mile family rides to 100 mile Century rides. Routes vary by location.
