The Leever Foundation is accepting grant requests for its first round of funding.  The Foundation will consider one year requests for new, expanded or improved programs serving residents of Greater Waterbury.  Requests must be for programs serving children and youth including early childhood education and development, youth development and the arts.

The deadline for submitting a notice of inquiry is March 1, 2013.  Eligible nonprofits are encouraged to email a brief description including number to be served, identified need, types of service to be provided, estimated total budget and amount of request and projected results.  Alignment with community plans such as Waterbury’s Bridge To Success (www.waterburybridgetosuccess.org) or other assessments or program models is encouraged.

Please refer to Leever Guidelines available at www.conncf.org/files/Leever-Grant-Guidelines-2013.docx before submitting your inquiry.

Inquiries and other questions should be emailed to Carol O’Donnell at codonnell@leeverfdn.org.  For further information, call 203-927-5997.
