The members of Sheridan Council #24 of the Knights of Columbus located in Waterbury, CT, recently raised over $1200 to benefit individuals in Connecticut with intellectual disabilities.The funds were raised through the Connecticut Knights of Columbus’ annual Campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities. Members of Sheridan Council #24, led by Jack Shea, stood outside the Stop & Shop on Wolcott Rd collecting donations. Council #24 has decided that the proceeds from this year’s collection be directed to the Waterbury ARC on East Main Street in Waterbury. The funds will be used to expand the hydroponics program that has recently been instituted at the Waterbury ARC.
