The Mattatuck Museum celebrates The Waterbury Chorale with a new exhibition entitled, The Spirit of Music: The Waterbury Chorale Celebrates 45 Years. Since its inception, the Chorale has carried the spirit of Waterbury locally, nationally and internationally. This exhibition commemorates the history of the Waterbury Chorale from its beginnings to the present through photos, stories, objects and recordings of Chorale performances. This exhibition will be on view in the Community Gallery through June 10, 2012.

In addition to the exhibition, the Museum and the Chorale will be commemorating 45 years of musical excellence with a celebration event on Sunday, April 29th from 2:00-5:00pm in the Community Gallery. This event is free and open to the public and includes a musical performance by the Waterbury Chorale in the Museum Courtyard.

Admission to the exhibit is free for museum members and children under 16, $5 for non-members and $4 for seniors. Join the museum to immediately qualify for the member discount.
