Immortal Ink Tattoo and Piercing is hosting a tattoo fundraiser, “Paws For The Cause” on Sunday, March 25th from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. in their studio at 481 Wolcott St., Waterbury. ALL of the proceeds will go to Companion Pet Rescue and Transport (CPR), a dog rescue organization which has helped over 7,500 pets find forever homes. CPR is a not for profit (501)(c)(3) organization that started in 2004 with the total commitment of just one woman, Milli Bowen, to save her first puppy, Annie.
The organization provides much needed medical attention to abused, hurt and neglected dogs, rescues dogs from kill shelters, spays and neuters all their rescues and rehomes unwanted puppies. Previous adoption events have been covered by the media, Channel 3, and have received much recognition for the good work they have accomplished. If you have ever loved a dog or felt the unconditional love and affection of a dog, immortalize them with a tattoo and keep them with you forever! CPR is a shelter-less rescue organization, all dogs are in foster homes making them well rounded with families, children and other dogs.
Donations are also being accepted for blankets, cleaning supplies, food, crates and of course, cash donations are always welcome! Weather permitting, dogs/puppies will be on site for an adoption event from 10a.m. to 2p.m. Log on www.facebook.comcompanionpetrescue for more information and visitwww.cprdogs.com. All donations are tax deductible. Please help save a life!
