The non-profit organization, Brass City Harvest, will sell Easter Flowers and Plants, and Vegetable Plants for beds on Thursday, April 5 through Saturday, April 7, 8 a.m. to 3p.m. at their Crownbrook Greenhouse at 73 Hill Street in Waterbury. Brass City Harvest’s mission is to provide food, education, nutrition and supportive human services to Waterbury residents and non-residents. Volunteers will sell locally-grown flowers and plants, plus garden vegetable plants, including cold weather vegetable plants. All proceeds benefit Brass City Harvest’s Sustainable Community Food System which provides freshly-grown vegetables to low-income and homeless individuals in the area.
