Webster Bank and AEG Management, CT, LLC today announced the newest investment in the future economic growth of the region and state: the Webster Bank Lounge on the executive suite level of the XL Center in Downtown Hartford. The official opening of the Webster Bank Lounge coincides with the BIG EAST Women’s Basketball Championship, March 2-6, 2012.

The XL Center has been the home of this tournament since 2004.  “Webster is pleased to officially be part of the excitement at events at the XL Center through this sponsorship,” said Michelle Crecca, executive vice president, chief marketing officer at Webster Bank. “We recognize our support of opportunities that help make the XL Center, Hartford, and Connecticut a choice destination is essential. When people come to e njoy events at the XL Center, there is a positive effect on the local economy, as nearby restaurants, hotels, parking lots and local shops all benefit as well.”

The Webster Bank Lounge is the newest addition to the XL Center’s premium seating portfolio. Located on the 4th floor (200 Level) of the Executive Suites, the Webster Bank Lounge provides an area for Executive Suite holders to socialize and network during events. Furnished with three high-definition flat screen
televisions, comfortable seating, and a bar, this inviting space will soon become a place for Suite Holders “to see and be seen.”
