Families are invited to come and enjoy storytime for all ages in a celebration of literacy in the community with guest storytellers and activities.

Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 235 Union St. (Brass Mill Commons), Waterbury
The Early Childhood Education team of the City of Waterbury Public Schools and Barnes & Noble on Union St. have joined forces to provide a free community event at Barnes & Noble. Storytellers for the evening include Mayor of Waterbury Neil O’Leary, Principal Ann Begley of Bucks Hill Elementary School, Lt. Paul Vance of the Connecticut State Police, Waterbury Board of Education Member Liz Brown, Special Services Supervisor Wendie Dawiczyk, and Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction Dr. Paul Sequeira.
Activities will include several craft stations and a fundraising bookfair all weekend long. Shop in store and a portion of sales from bookfair supporters goes to the Early Childhood Education Program of Waterbury!
