Flanders Nature Center, 5 Church Hill Road, Woodbury, will be offering after school programs on Wednesdays and Thursdays from March 14 through June 14 for Grades K-5.

Those attending will learn which birds are migrating back, which frogs are the most vocal, which plants are the earliest to appear, and other exciting signs of Spring.

Students arrive between 3:15and 3:30 PM from Bethlehem and between 4:15 and 4:30 PM from Mitchell, classes end at 5:30 PM, with extended care available until 6 PM. Bus transportation is offered from Bethlehem Elementary and Mitchell School, and programs are also open to anyone with their own transportation. The cost for Bethlehem students is $14 per class for members and $19 per class for nonmembers; for Mitchell students the cost is $10 per class for members and $15 per class for nonmembers. Extended care until 6 PM is $5 per class. Pre-registration and advance payment is required. Bethlehem and Mitchell students will need a parent’s note to board the bus to Flanders . Please dress for a mess and outdoor weather conditions, and bring a healthy snack.
