Chemtura Gives $140,000+ to United Way of greater Waterbury

Chemtura Corporation, a chemical company with locations in Middlebury, Conn. and Naugatuck, Conn., donated more than $140,000 to the United Way of Greater Waterbury. The 2011-2012 campaign – Chemtura’s 6th annual – combined employee contributions and fundraising with a $50,000 corporate gift. Each year, Chemtura collaborates with United Way and several other charitable initiatives to help support the Connecticut community. Chemtura was also presented with the Spirit of Excellence Award from United Way of Greater Waterbury in 2011.
