The award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated outstanding support to United Way and set a standard for service in the community.
Previously, the United Way chapter recognized Yelding, Inc. for outstanding community service for several years prior to Laurie’s personal award. Currently, Laurie is vice president of the United Way’s Executive Committee and serves on a number of additional committees, including the Golf Tournament, Special Events and Festival of Trees Committees.
