Our Lady of Mount Carmel Girls Varsity Softball Team won the Parochial City Tournament Championship for the fourth year in a row by defeating Blessed Sacrament 8-2. The team had a perfect season (17 and 0) and has won the City Championship for three years in a row.
The team record was 55 wins and 4 losses over the last four years. Casey DiZinno and Stefanie Guglielmo are the only two team members who had played all four years since the fifth grade. DiZinno’s pitching record was 54 wins and 3 losses to finish her career at Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
