Vendors are invited to participate in The Fourth Annual 5-Alarm Chili Fest to benefit the Waterbury Neighborhood Council. This spectacular event will be held on Sunday August 28, 2011 from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Historic Waterville Firehouse, 1551 Thomaston Avenue, Waterbury, CT. The Waterbury Fireman\’s Historical Society and the Waterbury Neighborhood Council co-sponsor the event.
Vendors can participate with any craft, product or market items. A vendor fee of $25.00 is required to secure a 10\’x 10\’space. There is also the availability for non-profit organizations to sell items for a $10.00 fee or, if for informational purposes only, space will be at no cost. Reserve and pay for your space by August 12, 2011 and receive a discount of $5.00, making the vendor fee $20.00. Food vendors are $100.00 and should call first. Vendors and activities will have their space provided accross the street from the Firehouse in Waterville Park. Entertainment for adults and children are planned along with food and beverage tents for a nominal fee. Events for the afternoon will include live music from local bands, a Kids Zone play area, Firefighter demonstrations and face painting. All attendees can participate in the chili tasting and judging for a $5.00 donation – all other activities are free. Be one of the particpants – there were more than 500 attendees at the 2010 fest!
