Greater Waterbury Walk Now for Autism Speaks
The Walk includes all surrounding towns and cities south and west of Hartford.
One and a half mile walk
Sign in begins at 9 am, and the Walk begins at 10 am.  Register online early!

   The second Greater Waterbury Walk Now for Autism speaks is on Saturday, June 4, 2010 at Library Park.  Everyone who registers before the Walk will be entered into a prize drawing on Walk day so be sure to register today!  The Walk Route will be a 1.5 mile loop through the streets of Waterbury surrounding the park. We will have police officers on hand and the roads will be closed off during the walk to car traffic for everyone’s safety.

   Frankie’s Hot Dogs will provide free hot dogs for the first 300 registered walkers at Library Park, Park Pizza, J.P.’s Deli and Nardelli’s for Grand Club members.  We will have snacks from Fritos Lay and Brachman and water provided by Walgreens and Waterbury BNI, and coffee and hot cocoa compliments of Will Avery’s Charlie’s Hut.  Please be advised we will not have any food accommodations for special diets. We ask that if someone in your party has a dietary restriction please bring something for them from home.

   Amanda Raus from NBC30 will be the emcee for the Walk.  Senator Joan Hartley will be in attendance. There will be great entertainment including an Anthem singer, Brianna Smail, a Chase Collegiate student; violinist Kolby Forrest, a student of Oxford High School; Bouncy Houses provided by KENecticut Hardware; Peter Toma from “Party Troupe with hula hoops and parachute; identification kits from New York Life; children activities, unicyclist, Christine Sposito face painting, balloon shapes by Tim Walsh, and Zumba with Cherrie Lamb.  ActJamsProductions.com will be providing the music and sound.
