Alphabet Explorers

    Literacy Volunteers of Greater Waterbury, Inc. will hold its final Alphabet Explorers session for 2010-11 on Saturday, May 14, at 10:30 a.m. at the Silas Bronson Library, 267 Grand Street, Waterbury.  Families with children ages 3 to 5 years are invited to enjoy alphabet stories, games, and other fun intergenerational activities.  Each family will receive a free book.
   The aim of the Alphabet Explorers program is to encourage enjoyable family learning activities that promote early childhood literacy.  The program is sponsored by Target and Literacy Volunteers of Greater Waterbury.  It is free of charge, but registration is required:  call 203-754-1164.
