Benefit Showcase for the Center for
Creative Youth on Friday, May 13th
Event goers are in for a night of entertainment from some of the area’s greatest young performers. Come and support the Benefit Showcase for the Center for Creative Youth on Friday, May 13th, 7pm at the Fulkerson Arts Center, 565 Chase Parkway, Waterbury 06708.
The Center for Creative Youth, CCY, is a intensive five week arts program that is held each summer at Wesleyan University for young artist’s trying to master their craft. “CCY emphasizes multicultural and interdisciplinary learning, critical thinking and leadership. Each class is designed to enhance students’ problem-solving skills in instrumental and vocal music, theater, musical theater, technical theater, creative writing, dance, filmmaking and visual arts, which includes photography.”
