Make your escape on the Litchfield Hills Train Experience – Craft Beer Tasting, and indulge in five tastings of craft beer along the way with a buffet menu of hot dogs, hamburgers, beans and macaroni salad. Enjoy a stop at Fascia’s Chocolates and receive a sampler box of chocolate. Dessert, coffee, and water will be served upon arrival back at the Thomaston Station. Please note: this event is for adults ages 21 and over.

This train will take you up the Naugatuck River Valley, over the famed Thomaston Dam, and through the woods to Torrington! Passengers will also have a chance to depart the train and spend two hours in Torrington to grab lunch, walk around, and enjoy what downtown has to offer on a summer day!
Torrington Express ~ Climb aboard and enjoy a train ride to Torrington on our new Torrington Express! The Torrington Express runs every Sunday through August 25, at noon and 2pm. The two-hour layover is only available on the noon train.
Fun for the entire family awaits aboard our Scenic Train Rides. Hitch a ride on our 1920s passenger cars, pulled by one of our vintage diesel locomotives. Your trip starts at the historic Thomaston Station, heading south through the beautiful Naugatuck Valley. Enjoy views of the river below as the train traverses scenic bridges along the way.The Scenic Train Rides run every Saturday through August 24, at noon and 2pm. The 2pm train briefly stops at Fascia’s Chocolates.
