Waterbury HEALTH — a local network anchored by 357-bed Waterbury Hospital that offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient healthcare services as well as primary and multispecialty physician services and home health care — has acquired a minority ownership interest in Waterbury Surgery Center, a free-standing multispecialty facility providing high-quality ambulatory surgical services. Waterbury HEALTH began managing the facility Dec. 31, 2020.
