OLLI Program Partners With Brass City Harvest For Greening Of Waterbury Program

South End Greenhouse on Mill Street
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Connecticut in Waterbury has announced a pilot learning-service project in conjunction with Waterbury's Brass cIty Harvest, beginning in March 2013. From Seeds to Planting to Harvest to Table: The Greening of Waterbury, lead by Nunzio DeFilippis, will be offered to OLLI members from March 5 to September 17, 2013.
Waterbury Residents Lead at Osher Institute
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Connecticut in Waterbury has announced that several Waterbury residents – Nunzio DeFilippis, James Coleman, Sr., Concetta Scarfone, Cynthia Paolino, Donna Bonasera and Sheila Waters Fucci of CT Dance Theatre, along with former Waterbury residents Sue Matsuki and Dr. Eashwarll Ramdhani, will be leading programs in the upcoming session. The fall courses and special events will take place from September to November, 2012.

The Mattatuck Museum presents the third and final lecture in their Spring Lunch & Learn Series, A Tour of Venice with Nunzio DeFilippis, on Wednesday, June 13 from 11:30am-12:30pm.

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Connecticut in Waterbury has announced that area residents, Nunzio DeFilippis, James Coleman, Sr., Concetta Scarfone, Phil Benevento, Cynthia Paolino, Donna Bonasera and Sheila Waters Fucci of CT Dance Theatre, Stuart Brown (UConn), Steve Collins of Waterbury Symphony Orchestra, along with former Waterbury resident Sue Matsuki, will be leading programs in the upcoming session. The spring courses and special events will take place from March to May and summer session will take place in June, 2012.
