Teacher Appreciation at Stone Academy

Wed, 04/25/2012 - 19:13

Stone Academy is hosting its annual Teacher Appreciation Week on May 7-12. During this special week, teachers are served treats during lunch breaks and actively thanked by students and staff.

For nearly 150 years, Stone Academy has provided students with a career-oriented business education. Its history dates back to 1864, when it was founded as the United States College of Business. Later, the school became known as Stone School of Business. In 1988, as a result of a merger with The Academy for Business Careers, the school became Stone Academy.

2012 marks the 10th anniversary of the Waterbury campus, formed when Goodwin Institute merged with Stone Academy. The campus is located at 101 Pierpont Road. For details, please call 203.756.5500 or visit www.StoneAcademy.com.
